Home Of The OUEC Squad
OUEC is proud to have 3 successful competition squads, as well as a team of training reserves, for Showjumping and Dressage. These teams compete in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Equestrian Competitions, as well as friendly matches, throughout the academic year, with opportunities to qualify for the Regional and National BUCS Championships. The season culminates in the annual Varsity Match between the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge in Trinity term.

Subsidised Lessons For All Abilities
OUEC members have access to exclusive, subsidised riding lessons at a leading riding school in Oxfordshire, Waterstock Dressage. If you’re looking to get back into riding, improve your skills, or ride for the first time, OUEC offers affordable access to high quality riding.

Social Events
Each term, OUEC puts on inclusive and welcoming social events, such as casual evenings talking horse at our local pubs, organised events to horse shows, and welfare events.

Cuppers Competition
Every Trinity Term, OUEC organises the annual intercollegiate Cuppers competition. Riders of all abilities compete in a super friendly riding show. Cuppers is a fun way to meet other riders, represent your college, and showcase what you’ve learned over the year.
